Omega Institute
Radical Awareness as Survival Healing From Invalidating & Antagonistic Relationships

Healing from narcissistic and antagonistic relationships is never a simple or linear process. It requires clarity, reflection, and—critically—a supportive community. In this workshop, we come together to explore what happens to us inside these relationships and how we can begin reclaiming the parts of ourselves we’ve had to quiet in order to stay connected.

Rather than rushing past your own story, we take the time to sit with it. We examine the dynamics of narcissistic and invalidating relationships, the toll they take on our sense of self, and the ways we learn to doubt our own reality. Even if you aren’t ready for radical acceptance, we move into awareness at a pace that feels grounded and safe.

Throughout the weekend, we take a deep look at the experiences you’ve carried—your patterns, your adaptations, the chaos you may have had to normalize. We reflect, we ask questions, and we explore how what once felt uniquely isolating is actually part of a broader, shared experience. You may recognize your story in someone else’s, and in that recognition, feel less alone.

This gathering is a reminder that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. As we reconnect with our authentic selves, we not only turn off the gaslights in our own lives—we also create the clarity and compassion that can help someone else find their way back to themselves.

Claiming Your Light
An Event at Sea with Dr. Ramani Durvasula

Claiming Your Light at Sea Event is a deeply reflective, restorative journey designed for those curious about narcissistic patterns in relationships and who feel called to deepen their self-connection and personal clarity. Set against the calming rhythm of the sea, this immersive week blends education, self-reflection, and community to create a space where understanding turns into clarity—and clarity into empowerment. Guided by Dr. Ramani’s compassionate and grounded approach, each day builds upon the next. We begin by creating safety and connection, gently exploring what brings each participant to this work. From there, the week unfolds into a clear, nuanced understanding of narcissism—what it truly is, how it operates in real relationships, and why it can leave such lasting emotional impact. Through engaging talks and thoughtful hands-on exercises, participants gain language for experiences that may have long felt confusing or isolating. As the journey continues, we explore trauma, attachment, and the invisible ways narcissistic abuse reshapes identity, self-trust, and the nervous system. These responses are reframed not as weakness, but as adaptive survival. Healing is then approached realistically and compassionately—as an ongoing practice of reclaiming boundaries, values, and authenticity rather than chasing closure. The week closes by widening the lens to include culture, power, and context, followed by reflection, integration, and shared wisdom. Participants leave not “fixed,” but steadier, clearer, and more deeply connected to themselves—carrying forward insight, resilience, and their own reclaimed light.

Navigating and Healing from Toxic Workplaces

You aren’t alone. Many people find themselves in workplaces shaped by manipulation, betrayal, entitlement, or abusive leadership. Whether it’s a colleague who undercuts you, a boss who destabilizes your confidence, a business partner who damages what you’ve built, or clients whose behavior leaves your staff exhausted and anxious, these dynamics can derail both your work and your well-being. And in some settings, the entire institution becomes triangulated and unjust, leaving you to navigate it with little support.

We rarely discuss how narcissism and antagonism operate at work, even though the psychological impact mirrors what we see in toxic families or intimate relationships—confusion, self-blame, hypervigilance, and isolation. Leaving isn’t always an option; financial, professional, and ethical pressures keep many people stuck, often compounding shame and emotional strain. For those juggling other narcissistic relationships outside of work, the toll can be even heavier.

This program offers space to understand how these patterns show up in professional environments, how they affect us, and what we can do to protect ourselves. It’s a chance to learn with others who have faced similar challenges and to gather tools that support clarity, boundaries, and healthier ways of navigating toxic workplace dynamics.
