THERAPIST TRAINING: Narcissistic Abuse and Recovery Retreat
The 3-Day Narcissistic Abuse & Recovery Retreat is an immersive clinical training experience designed for mental health professionals seeking a deeper, more effective approach to working with clients impacted by narcissistic and emotionally abusive relationships. Led by Dr. Ramani Durvasula, this intensive retreat blends evidence-based education, case-based learning, and practical treatment strategies to help clinicians confidently navigate one of the most complex and misunderstood forms of trauma. Available both in person at the beautiful Waters Edge Resort & Spa in Connecticut and live online, the retreat offers a unique opportunity to learn directly from one of the world's leading experts in narcissism, antagonism, and recovery. Participants can earn up to 13 LIVE CE hours, with additional self-study CE opportunities available.
Over three days, attendees will explore the full landscape of narcissistic abuse—from understanding narcissistic and antagonistic personality patterns to recognizing trauma bonding, attachment wounds, cognitive dissonance, and the long-term effects of relational betrayal. Through real-world case presentations, treatment planning exercises, and interactive discussions, clinicians will learn how to assess risk, create effective treatment maps, support clients through legal and family complexities, and foster resilience and post-traumatic growth. The retreat concludes with important conversations around cultural competency, ethics, therapist well-being, and sustainable clinical practice. Participants leave with a comprehensive framework, practical tools, and renewed confidence in their ability to support clients recovering from emotionally abusive relationships.
